Colorado Football: Coach Prime signs Jordan Seaton

The Colorado Football team had a massive issue in 2023 and that was protecting Sheduer Sanders. This was a priority for Coach Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes coaching staff heading into their first full offseason for Colorado. The biggest step towards building in the trenches has been made by Colorado Football signing Jordan Seaton. Seaton is the thirteenth overall player in 24/7 sports rankings and the top offensive tackle in the class. The signing was announced in a post on Jordan Seaton’s Instagram account.

The signing is massive for the Buffaloes who haven’t exactly performed as well as they would’ve hoped signing only six players. The Colorado Football team does rank first in transfer portal rankings as they’ve landed 16 recruits in the transfer portal.

Jordan Seaton will play a massive role in protecting Sheduer Sanders alongside multiple top transfers along the line. The Buffaloes signed four-star interior lineman Tyler Johnson, three-star Yakiri Walker, Three-star Kahlil Benson, and three-star Justin Mayers all of whom will compete for starting roles on the offensive line.

Colorado Football: Transfer Portal bringing loads of talent

The Colorado Football team disappointed in 2023 however, they’re using the transfer portal to completely rebuild their program. Deion Sanders is bringing in the top ranked transfer class in the country but, the worst traditional recruiting class in the Big 12 where they’ll play in 2024. The Buffaloes struggled mightily with depth and talent along the lines against some of the best teams in the country. As Deion Sanders continues to build this Colorado Football program, he’ll need to improve in traditional recruiting however, right now the portal is the best way to go. Bringing in top tier talent that’s ready to play right away will help this team become bowl eligible and help attract kids to Colorado.
